I like Maisie and Megan together and think it's neat that they both mean pearl :) For b/g pairs how about:

Maisie and Gavin

Maisie and Trevor (yes it's my ds's name, but I think it's nice with Maisie!)

Maisie and Jonah

Maisie and Holden

I like less common but not unheard of names paired with Maisie :)

While I like both Masie & Megan and I think they sound reasonably cute together, I just wanted to point out that both names are pet forms of the same name: Margaret (which is why they both mean pearl). Maisie is the Scottish diminuitive while Megan is the Welsh diminutive. For that reason alone, I think they're too close for siblings, never mind twins. Of course, they're your girls and the names do sound good together so you could use them just fine. But if it were me, I'd name one Margaret and one either Gretchen (which also means pearl) or Gemma (which means precious stone) and nickname them Maisie & Greta ( I LOVE this!) or Maisie & Gem so they had something more formal to use as adults.

ETA: some boys names. ones that sound good with Margaret/Maisie: Jasper, Piers, Finn/Finnian, Dante, Lorcan, Marius, Leo or Max, which all mean either precious or strong (enduring) Some classics that go well with a Margaret, nn Maisie would be: Alexander, Ambrose, Andrew, Asher, Blaise, Declan, Donovan, Duncan, Edward (nn Ned), Elliot, Henry, Ian, James, Miles, Owen, Philip, Tobias (Toby) or William (nn Liam). I quite like Margaret & Edward/ Maisie & Ned and Margaret & William/Maisie & Liam.

I like Maisie & Drew (Andrew) and Maisie and Hayden.

If you want 2 M's, I like Maisie and Matthew.

I like the way that your two girls' names both mean pearl.

I like Maisie as a nn, like pp poster said a more formal name she could use when grown up would be nice. I love Margaret nn Maisie, very UK. Other names for girls I like with Margaret:

Gemma

Caroline

Elizabeth

Beatrice

Therese

Boys:

Joseph

For some reason, Megan and Maisie don't seem to fit the same style. However, Pearl and Maisie go quite well together!

I agree with the previous poster...I know both of these names as nicknames for Margaret.

How about Margaret and Elizabeth, and go with Maisie and Betsy? I love both full names, and I know you have mentioned Betsy before.

Other ideas:

Maisie and Violet

Maisie and Clara

Margaret and Charlotte, nns Maisie and Lottie

For B/G:

Margaret (Maisie) and Henry

Maisie and Edmund

Maisie and Lionel

Good luck! It's fun to see you go through the process of finding names for your twins!
