I like the idea of using a middle name after you if your son has your husband but I can't say I like the name "Brooke Ann", too much of the one sylable thing going on.
Might I suggest a variation?
Brooke Annabel (my favorite)
Brooke Annabeth (also nice)
Brooke Annelise (this Annelise thing is getting very popular so not my choice)
Brooke Annette (might work nicely depending on last name)
By the way, I think 'Brooke' is a lovely name and would consider it myself if a girlfriend from work didn't have a daughter with the name already.
Cheers!
I think Brooke Alexis sounds the best of your list, but if you want to use your middle name, why not pick another form of Ann that would flow better? Like these:
Brooke Annalise/Anneleise
Brooke Annette
Brooke Annice
Brooke Annabeth
Brooke Annalie/Annaleigh/Annalee
Brooke Leanne/Leanna
Brooke Liane/Liana

I love love love the name Allison but our last name is Peterson so it sounds a little too "son". Thanks though.
I'm
I'm completely equal on Brooke Alexandra and Brooke Alexis
Brooke Anne is out - 2 one-syllable names never have a flow
(that is not true of 2 two-syllables, 2 three-syllables etc), just the one-one. it's just too abrupt and choppy sounding
if you want to incorporate Anne into something (well is is kinda in Alex-AN-dra)
here are some possibilities
Brooke Leanne or Leanna
Brooke Joanne or Joanna
Brooke Annaleise
Brooke Anastasia
good luck
