Midori for a girl?? Not sure I'd use it, just curious to see what others think.

It's somewhat interesting but I think it sounds a bit like the name of a birth control pill or something.

No way. It's a pretty common type of liqueur and alcohol is one association that is an absolute no-no for me. As much as I adore Killian, I can't bring myself to put it on my list because it's a brand of beer. And I admit that Hennessey is a secret guilty pleasure of mine.

Yeah, that's why I probably wouldn't use it - because of the liquor. I do like the sound of it, though. :|

The drink association is too strong for me. I did know a girl named Dori though.

I would love it if it weren't for the alcohol association.

I'm aware of that. I do like the sound of it but that would be why I probably wouldn't use it. :)

The first thing I thought of was Midori Ito, the Japanese figure skater. (I've never heard of the liquor.) I think it has a nice sound, but b/c of the figure skater, it gives me an Asian feel. I don't know if that would matter or not to most people. I guess if the liquor is that well known, I wouldn't use it, but not knowing that, I voted that I like the name.
