I voted for Riordan Henry; however, I would love to see Riordan Everett as a combo. That's TWO names in my personal Top 20 in ONE combo!!! And trust me, I'm VERY picky about my top twenty- lol.

Breckin is also a long-running fave of mine, for boy or girl.

Lachlan Everett makes a great combo. Lachlan has also been a Top 20 name of mine for years.

The other name I wanted to comment on was Rogan. I'm not crazy about it because on first glance it seems sort of like a made-up form of Logan (though I know it's not). However, I've liked the name Brogan since the mid 80s--- I think Brogan Sawyer or Sawyer Brogan is fabulous!

Great, fun list!

I voted based solely on the first name, since the middle names are interchangeable. My vote went to Lachlan. I love Henry, though, so I guess my first choice would be Henry Lachlan. Although if you'd prefer that Henry stay in the middle name spot, I also like Lachlan Henry.

Let us know what you decide!

I do have Everett as a mn with a lot of these (since there are only so many non-N-ending names I seem to like LOL), so don't worry. Even if it's not the combo on the poll, if the fn ends in an N, I probably have it paired with Everett somewhere on the list. ;)

I always go back and forth on Rogan, mainly because of the "rogue" thing. ;) But I think one of the reasons I can't help but like it IS it's similarity to Logan, Rohan/Rowan and Ronan ... all of which are also on my list. Brogan just doesn't do it for me for some reason, however. I think it's the Bro- thing (although I do like Brody, so that seems odd to say LOL). It just sounds to me like a silly little nickname I might have had for my brother or something, if that makes any sense ... "What's up, Bro-gan?!" hehe Weird, I know, but I can't help hearing that whenever I see this name.

I always appreciate a good suggestion, though, so thanks! ;)

Exactly what I'd hoped many would do. I do have a few personal favorites, as far as combos go, but I also wanted to try and get a few different mns on the list. I was hoping if someone didn't like a certain combo they'd vote based on the fn and suggest a mn, so thanks so much for doing so! ;)

I love Henry as well, even though it might not be the obvious choice with some of these. Henry Lachlan and Lachlan Henry are both on my list as well. It's on both lists (fn and mn), although I do like it as a mn with a lot of the fns. My only concern is that the beginning sound of Henry might not be the best with some of the N-ending fns on my list.

Thanks for the input!

I like ALL of the names on your other list better than all of the names on this list, lol.

That's why I seperated them the way I did. Many of the ones on the other list are more traditional (or possibly just more familiar), while a few of these are obviously less common. I know there's no point in doing a poll with one or two popular names along with more obscure ones, because you can easily predict which ones will get the most votes.

I actually quite love a lot of these, but Rogan is definitely my least favorite. I've briefly considered -- and dismissed -- it quite a few times now, but since it is similar in sound to a few names I really do like I thought it was worth including this time. Usually the "rogue" sound is what keeps me from liking it much (reminds me of X-men LOL), but I never thought of Rogaine! That should keep it off the list for good, now! ;) Thanks for pointing it out.

That's precisely why I prefer it as a first name with Lachlan. I also adore Henry Everett and Everett Henry, which just sound very sophisticated and manly to me. Knowing your love for great nicknames, Everett as a first name would be almost irresistible to me (as a Southern girl and lover of Clark Gable) in your position, because you could call him Rhett! Or Rett would be cute, as well. Either way, you get to annoy all the grandparents with another nickname taken from the END of the name instead of the beginning! With Everett as the first name, I *think* that my first choice would be Everett Lachlan...though it's a tough decision!

You know me too well. I actually did have Rhett/Rett as a nn for both Everett and Garrett. Gotta love those end-of-the-name nns!

Incidentally, my grandmother kept calling Abigail "Aila" the other day in the most loving, adoring voice. ;) It was great ... think it's definitely grown on her. I couldn't help but smile.
