Name for 2nd Son?

We have a 6 yo named Javier Stone and have a second son (we think) on the way. We have a first name, but are stuck on a middle name. Here are the ones we're tossing around:

Rowan Nash - I like the sound of it
Rowan Jaxon - DH likes the sound of it
Rowan Oliver - I like the sound of it and Oliver is my grandfather's name

Which do y'all like? Do you have any other suggestions to go with Rowan that aren't the traditional Michael, Jonathon, Joshua, etc.?

I like Rowan Oliver because of the family connection.

I vote for Oliver since it's a family name. I think that it's a great thing to do to honor family members.

Personally, family names don't sway me like they do the previous posters, but I do think that Rowan Oliver has the best sound to it overall, so that would be my pick, family name or no. Other suggestions...

Rowan Alastair
Rowan Archer
Rowan Beckett
Rowan Dominic
Rowan Everett
Rowan Gabriel
Rowan Gregory
Rowan Lennox
Rowan Matthias
Rowan Theodor

You guys have given me some wonderful suggestions. We've decided to do a bracket like on babynamewizard.com as a fun family thing on Thanksgiving. These will definitely be in the running!

Rowan Nash - I'm sorry, but I don't like the sound of it. Since the fn ends in an N and the mn begins with one, it really runs together a lot (almost sounds like Rowan Ash, KWIM?)

Rowan Jaxon - This one doesn't sound good either. Both names are two syllables ending in the same an/on sound, so it's very repetitive. Jaxon, especially this misspelling, is also very trendy and seems a bit "off" paired with Rowan

Rowan Oliver - This is great! It sounds the best by far -- not repetitive, different number of syllables, not misspelled or trendy, etc. -- and the fact that Oliver is your grandfather's name clinches it for me. This would definitely get my vote. ;)

I like Rowan Oliver. I don't think going traditional is a bad route. If your son doesn't like his unique name, he might prefer the option to use something more popular.
