I voted for Daria Alejandra, because I like Daria the best of your first name choices, but I don't like when a name ends in A and the middle starts in A. I think Daria Susanne would sound the best of your mn choices with Daria.

Chava's just a little too strange and I don't like Genevieve at all

Rachel is just way too popular and Lynn is way too common of a middle. I think if you did decide on Rachel despite the popularity, Susanne or Alejandra would be better middles for that than Lynn

Hannah is the one name on your list that Susanne does NOT sound good with as a middle - because the ANN sound in it is repeated. way too rhymey.

even though I don't like Genevieve, if you chose Hannah, Genevieve is the best of your middle choices for that.

also, I think Hannah Rachel would sound good together.

hope that all helps

good luck

Most of those names are based on Hebrew/Yiddish, French and Hispanic names. ( being that I'm of German Jewish/African-American/Louisiana Creole heritage and my boyfriend wants our children to be raised aware of that heritage as well as his Argentinian heritage)There's also the tradition among us of naming a child after a deceased relative or friend. Daria is by far my favorite name and it's in memory of my Father who died on March 4th. ( he was only 45!)

Genevieve is my favorite character in my favorite book series. ( The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells.) So that's where I got it from. My BF hates the name with a passion.

Hannah, Chava and Rachel are common Hebrew names that we like. My favorite Hebrew name of all is Aviva, but we're not considering it because that's MY Hebrew name!

I don't know where I got "Lynn" from. It just sounded nice with the name "Rachel".

Alejandra is the feminine version of my bf's middle name . He wants a derivitive of his name in there somewhere. ( I'd prefer using the nn "Sasha" no matter if we go with Alejandra, Alexandra, Alexandria or whatever.)

We could always choose a secular name in honor of anybody ( or anything for that matter) and choose the Hebrew name in memory of my father, Bubbe or whoever. That is definitely something that we're contemplating.

I particularly like Daria Susanne and Hannah Rachel as first and middle names and they goes well with my boyfriend's surname.

Maybe some of you could help us out with names that fit what we're looking for. ( We're just name fishing because I may be pg and even if I'm not now, we'll be trying for a while anyway.)

Thanks for the feedback so far!

I voted for Chava before I read your post. I love Chava. But then I read that Daria was for your father and I think that's more important. So now I'm going with Daria.

PS My Hebrew name is Shayna.

I like the suggestion of Daria Suzanne very much. How about the name Alizah? My book says it is Hebrew for Joy or Joyful. I love it.
