Why Megan, guys? That's my least favourite. I used to like that name and aren't even really considering it anymore but put it in the poll anyways, I guess I shouldn't have, lol. It does go well with Ethan and Logan but it is a little too popular for me.

You asked why people voted for Megan. I can only speak for myself, but here goes:

Camden - Reminds me of Camden, New Jersey

Payton - To me this is too masculine. Even if it's unisex I don't like unisex names.

Carmen - Even though this is (IMHO) a female name, the only Carmens that I have known are old Italian men.

Aslynn - Afraid that she will be teased and called "ass"

Ainsley - My second choice. I like this.

Megan - I love this name and the NN "Meg"

Carson - See what I wrote for Payton.

lol...I think b/c Megan goes so well with the names of your two boys, lol. I actually picked Ainsley, but was going to add that I thought Megan went well with the other names. I dont' know about Carson, though-- I know this is weird logic, but next to your boys' names, if I was just to read them, along with Carson, on a list, I would assume that Carson was another boy. lol...again, I can't figure out a logical reason why...

best of luck to you!

I also feel that maybe Carson, Payton and Ainsley are a little too masculine. I have always loved the name Megan, but if you're worried about it being too popular (which it is) why not make it a tiny bit more unusual by changing it to Magan???? (pronounced MAYGAN)

Best wishes..

Megan is pronounced like the way you suggested (May-gan). There is Meagan which is pronounced Mee-gan and I don't like that one at all. I agree that Carson and Payton sound somewhat masculine but Ainsley, I can't picture that as a boy's name. Thanks for your input.

I voted for Ainsley, I think it is a cute, not too common name.

Camden - eh, it is so so
Payton - a name I just don't understand the appeal of
Carmen - to dated, never been a fan of
Aslynn - sounds like ass-lynn to me, setting up for a lifetime of teasing
Ainsley - nice, cute name
Megan - my second choice, popular, but a nice name
Carson - a boy's name, no question

I do like the unisex names. The name dh and I like the best is Carmen, very feminine to me and I've never heard of anyone named that around here. Aslynn isn't pronounced 'Asslynn', it's 'Azlynn'. I don't like Payton and Carson as much as I like Carmen and Azlynn. I really don't like Megan if someone's going to be calling her Meg for short, I'm not one for shortening names. Thanks, anyways.
