I don't really like any of them but I voted for Morley. Casper just reminds me of Casper the Friendly Ghost. Shane seems to have come and gone many years ago, IMO.

I know Casper will remind people of the friendly ghost, but I really like this name.
I was thinking of Jasper as an alternative which I also really like but then remembered my DH's "J" sounding last name and it sounded aweful together. (I kept my name, but baby will just have DH's surname)
I really like Morley it's the name of a character in one of my favourite books and I think it's really different but not difficult to pronounce/spell.
And I just liked the name Shane after DH nixed the names Shaemus (any spelling of it) but is okay with Shane.

I thought of Casper the friendly ghost as well. And I know it's probably just because it was listed along with Casper, but as soon as I saw Morley I thought of the Marleys (who were "dead to begin with ..." if you're familiar with Dickens' Christmas Story), so I thought of a ghost there too lol. I'm sure on it's own Morley would work fine, though. Probably just the friendly ghost thing carrying over. I do like Shane, though, and don't see it as "come and gone" as a pp mentioned (I do think that a bit of Shawn, but see Shane quite differently for some reason).

Oh, and as long as you're open to suggestions, I think Caspian or Crispin are similar-sounding to Casper without the whole ghost association. :)

HTH!

Shane is really nice! I love it! Casper and Morley are both horrible IMO.
