i had never thought of Cascade as a girl's name, and i Love it!!!..then again i love skiing, winter, the beauty of snow (tho of course hate shoveling, scraping windows), then there's the Cascade Mountains! fabulous name!

Winter i like the idea, really do, is not a bleak season for me, i love all 4 seasons. i love distinctive names!

Star, i like, also, Estelle/Estella/Stelina..and Starre.. i've known 2 Starla's.

River i like, though personally i'd favor variation, Reeve, Riviera, Ria, perhaps another language name of river. i also like Rayne/Rain.

btw..just a thought..
a Native tradition, is too look outside when the newborn arrives,
the first thing you see, is their name.. i.e.
Rainbow Sky/Prism Skye (Schuyler/Skyler),
or maybe with a foggy morning, she's Misty Dawn!
