I LOVE Mary (and I really like Mary Jane as a double name) but I don't like the way Mary Jane McWayne rhymes. So I voted for Elizabeth Ann, which is my second choice. Have you considered Mary Elizabeth? I LOVE that combination, and it takes care of the rhyming issue.

I love all these choices except Mackenzie, which seems incredibly trendy and out of place. I agree with Annie, how about Mary Elizabeth? I also voted for Elizabeth Ann because I think it flows nicely with your last name. What are your other kids names? That might help.

I like Mia and Mary, but all of the M names are a little too alliterative with the ln McWayne (trust me, I also have a Mc- ln and this has been a problem for us as well LOL). However, I think Amelia, nn Mia, would sound much better. Also, Amelia has the old-fashioned feel of Mary and the more youthful nn Mia (which you obviously like as well), so it gives you both options. Just a suggestion! ;)

Thanks for your comments. My other children do have more "trendy" names if you will I am not sure why I am feeling more old fashion this time around.
Davon, Marcel, Kaliyah (pronounced Ka-lea)

My favorite right now is Mary Jane except the way it goes with my last name McWayne!! I thought of maybe having Maryjane and then a middle name to break it up a bit. I did not mix with Elizabeth or Ann because those are the grandmothers and I thought if I had one I had to have both!!!!

Thanks again - any change of heart now that you know my other children's names??

I think Mary Jane McWayne does kinda sound too much the same. Have you thought of Mary Beth which would be after the one grandmother. Or maybe combine Marybeth and use Ann for a mn. Marybeth Ann McWayne. Just a thought!

I might suggest Annabeth as a compromise between Elizabeth and Ann.

(btw, my name is Elizabeth Ann!)
