  • Mary Cameron (too close to sib's Kathryn?)
  • Mary McKenzie (after g'parents)
  • Mary Camden
  • Mary Megan
  • Mary Christian
  • NOTE: mns including me&dh end in "n" (so far)

I have considered the name Mary..because of my MIL. And I like the name Mary Elizabeth. I think it flows well with the rest of your kids.

I couldn't vote.. just couldn't decide which was worse, having one child with initials that "match" mom & dad's (without the other two doing so, seems unfair to the older ones, to me). Cameron's too masculine for my tastes, even paired with Mary. McKenzie is way too overdone and passé. Camden's a nasty city in New Jersey.. and New Jersey's been the butt of jokes longer than I've been alive. I used to live in NJ, I know! Mary Megan's too plain and Mary Christian is only ok if she doesn't covert when she's older (how funny.. a Jewish Mary Christian!) LOL

I can easily second suthurnbelle's suggestion of Mary Elizabeth since it's just classically gorgeous. How about Mary Lauren? It ends in 'n' as everyone else's seems to and it matches the classic lines of Emily & Grace Kathryn.

JMHO, as always

I didn't vote because I, like the pp, don't really like any of the mns you've picked. Caitlin is too close to Kathryn, IMO, and I don't thinks it's fair to single one child out as having mom and dad's initials when the other two don't. Cameron, Camden, and Christian all seem too masculine to me. McKenzie would probably be the best choice (because it's after family), but Mary McKenzie sounds a little too cutesy for my taste. As much as I hate for parents to feel like their children's names have to match up, I do think another name ending with an 'n' sound would flow the best for a mn. How about:

Mary Allison

Mary Gillian

Mary Gwendolyn

Mary Helen

Mary Jessamine** I really like this one

Mary Jacqueline

Mary Jocelyn

Mary Lauren

Mary Lillian

Mary Rhiannon

Mary Suzanne

Mary Tegan

Mary Vivian

And by the way, I love the fn you picked out! Mary is so beautiful and fits in wonderfully with Emily and Grace.

Hope this helps!

Jorie

Mary Camden is the name off of 7th heaven, on of the characters. Just incase you didn't know. I'm sure someone would point that out eventually. Natalie

I love Mary! It's my favorite name and it's good to see it's getting some use!

Good job and good luck. Your other daughters have beautiful names as well.

Thank you for your comments. I thought the poll would help me pick a name but now I'm more confused than ever. Mary Tegan and Mary Allison are very pretty as well as Mary Lauren. Got some great ideas. Thanks again. Michele
