I'm in Boston, and when I look at the first names, I know lots of Christians and Jews who are named all the names, with the possible exception of Adam. All the first names and last names look and sound fine together, withe the exception of Bennett Weinberg. I think Bennett reminds me too much of Jane Austen and it looks a little "soft" with Weinberg - - or that you are trying for a WASPy first name, which doesn't look quite right with Weinberg. I know from another post that you are trying to get to the nn Ben and that's where Bennett came from. I think you mentioned in another post that James would be Jamie. I think that's my favorite. Not too big on James as the every day name, but I love Jamie or even the old Jim. (I have a Samuel, called Sam, and and Andrew, called Andy, so those are great names, too!)

Dear Alison,

I got your post too late as I went into labor on the 25th and gave birth to Bennett Daniel Bassin Weinberg on the 26th! Anyway, we ended up loving the name, and my sister is actually ok with us calling him Ben now. He is a beautiful adorable baby as of course all mothers think theirs is :)

Thanks for your message, and I want to thank all the others who helped out as well.

I really like Zachary. It is actually one of my very favorite boy's names. One reason I like it so much is that it's very strong by itself, and then it's also got a very strong nickname. Zach sounds so good for a little boy and for a man. A lot of boys names don't have very strong nicknames. Another name you might consider is Peter. Hvae fun! :)
