Lilah gmv easily this time. ;)

Lilah Parker sounds classy and distinguished -- something that could suit an older woman or little girl equally well. The others just seem lacking in comparison. Hopefully this will make sense, but Marissa and Gabrielle just seem insubstantial next to Lilah. They don't have nearly the same sparkle, KWIM?

I chose Lilah Elisabeth because Marissa does not seem like it will age gracefully and Gabrielle is extremely popular right now, which, as a Jennifer from the 80's, I know your daughter will not like when she is older. Basically though, the mn Elisabeth made this choice very easy for me. Elisabeth (especially spelled with an s) is such a beautiful and graceful name to me that, much like the other poster said, Nicole and Lynn just cannot stand up to it. The final nail in the coffin to me is that I hate it when the first name ends in the same sound as the middle name begins. Gabrielle Lynn would flow off the tongue as "Gabriellen".

I went with Marissa Nicole, I know a number of adult Marissa's (of varying ages) and it seems to age well. Also, both Lily and Lillian are becoming really popular right now so Lilah may get lost in that trend. That said, I also really like Lilah Elisabeth, you'd do fine with either :)

I picked Lilah. I'm glad you changed the spelling.

I chose Lilah because it's classic, sophisticated, and elegant. I can see it as a really adorable name on a two-year-old, and as a serious, intelligent name on an adult woman. Gabrielle is fine, but it's so popular now, and since I don't know any adult Gabrielles, it's hard for me to picture. Also, I think that Lilah is fitting for so many different types of women--it fits all around. I have a hard time picturing a Gabrielle who isn't obsessed with fashion and always dressed to the nines (that's a good thing...it's just a limiting factor, in my mind, because you may have a daughter who prefers jeans and old t-shirts...and I can't picture a girl like that named Gabrielle. It's too frilly). Plus, I just DESPISE the nickname Gabby, so that alone is enough to kill it for me.

Love this spelling of Elisabeth, as well. I think you have a great name here. Let us know what you decide!

Hey everyone...I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a new middle name for Gabrielle, it's been brought to my attention that when you say the first and middle name together (Gabrielle Lynn, it can come out as Gabriellen, which I dont want) The only family names I have are Nikole (which I like spelled Nicole) and Marie which is my moms and dh's moms middle name, but I really hate the name Marie. My daughters name is Alexandra Brielle and I love love love her middle name.

Also, I may end up using all three of the names, because my husband and I are planning on having four kids, and it seems thus far, we have no male grandchildren and on both sides we are having only girls (so of course our boys list was cake walk to do and easy to decide on, and the girls list has taken us forever to get together) so this poll is just a matter of what name to use first...I love all the names together as siblings;
Allie, Lilah, Gabby and Marissa...

Anyway, just wanted to get everyones ideas and opinions! You guys rock for all the help you've given me this far!!

Mariana is a possibility for a middle name, I think. It's a lovely name, and it could easily honor your mother and your husband's mother. I love it particularly with Lilah, but I could definitely like it with Gabrielle, too. I'm not really a fan of Gabrielle itself, but Gabrielle Mariana is certainly feminine, and the flow is nice. Lilah Mariana...LOVE!

There's also Marisol, which sort of combines Marie and Nicole. I think Marisol is gorgeous!

I know it's not the feedback you're looking for, but knowing Brielle is Alexandra's mn gives Gabrielle a 0% chance in my book. Brielle is literally a shortened form of Gabrielle. It makes perfect sense you like it ... you've already used it. ;)

I'd let Alexandra Brielle have her own name, and stick with Lilah and/or Marissa for her sister(s). Sorry. :(

I voted for Marissa - I love it, one of my favorites, and goes great with Nicole in the middle

I don't like Lilah at all - it's so stuffy-old, to me

and I've never liked Gabrielle because I hate the Gabby nickname - also to have Lynn in the middle with Gabrielle is not good - the L sounds run together with no break

if you really do like Gabrielle though - Gabrielle Nicole sounds good together

I also don't like the Lilah Elizabeth pairing - to L and vowel heavy together

good luck
