Olivia and Isabel are extremely popular, but I don't think Evelyn is (although I'm sure it is rising right behind Ava/Eva/Eve, etc.).

I like Amelia, but Emelia looks misspelled (I think I might remember you addressing this in another post?). Anyway, it may very well be a valid spelling, I'm just commenting on how it looks, if that makes sense.

Oh, and I absolutely love Mary. Classic, simple, very sweet and not at all popular anymore. Mary Ellen as a double name is just a bit too Waltons for me, but I do love Mary. ;)

Olivia and Isabel are EXTREMELY popular. Evelyn isn't yet, but it's on the rise. I know quite a few of them. Despite that, I really love it. I also love Mary, which is so incredibly sweet, simple

Mary is my very favorite name ever :) If I hadn't been stuck on the middle name for this baby, I would've campaigned for Mary Annelise as her name. It's just so classic, simple, and pretty. I love it!

The others I don't think are too popular, but I'm very picky so they'd definitely be too much for me.

Good luck!

Kelli,

Yes, Emelia is a family name. I agree that it looks a little misspelled, which is why I'm hesitating to use it. If Amelia weren't so popular, I don't think it would be a problem, but I'd hate for her to go through life saying Emelia with an E.

I've never seen the Waltons, but a lot of people have made that reference upon hearing Mary Ellen. I like Mary on its own, but we'd be naming her after my grandmother who ALWAYS went by Mary Ellen, so somehow Mary doesn't feel like it's really after her - if that makes any sense! I still like it though!

Thanks for your response!
