I prefer it on a girl. I used to like it better on boys, but now that its popping up so much on baby girls, I find its rather feminine.

To me this name is all boy, just like Ryan, which it reminds me of a lot. In fact, some friends of ours named their son Riley after his father Ryan (instead of having a junior), so I guess I'm not the only one. :)

My youngest son's name is Logan Ryley. The reasoning behind spelling it Ryley instead of 'Riley' was because of the last name spelled 'Riley' in our town, I wanted it to be a bit different. We had that name picked out if he was a boy or a girl. I'd say both.

I think of it as a boy's name, but hear it equally used for both.

it appears to be about equal these days. I personally know only girls with it. I wouldn't use it on a boy, then then I woudln't use it on a girl either because I don't like it.

I know only girls with the name. But I say it's pretty equal.

This one's a tough call for me, especially since I know one of each. Whenever I hear it being considered as a boy's name, it sounds too feminine, but whenever I hear it on a girl, it seems a little masculine.

I think that if you love unisex names, this one works equally for a boy or a girl.

Good luck!
