I LOVE Megan. That was easily my favorite from your first name choices. Megan Julia is great. I'd also like Megan Elise and Megan Brooke.

I voted for Emily Brooke (two of my all-time favorite names, and I like the flow), but you have several great combos!! I also like Brooke Elise, Emma Grace, and Megan Julia (although, IMO, Julia Megan would flow better).

I love the name Cassidy! That is what I wanted to name the baby but my husband hates it. I also really like Elise, but a lady I work with has a daughter named that already. Emma is a beautiful name but it is way too popular. Your kid will be among many in her class at school that have that name. Give her something that she won't share with anyone else. I really like the name Lydia Paige which wasn't on your list. That was one we had picked out for a long time. Then we decided to have Mary be the middle name because it is my mom's name and my husband's grandmothers name. Baby naming is so hard. I thought it would be easier but then DH didn't like anything that I liked. He actually picked the name Eden and it has been the only one we really agree on.

I voted for Jordyn Emily because i have always loved the name Jordyn(dh hates it). I think that putting Emily in there makes it sound even better. So therefore, my vote went to Jordyn Emily.

Thanks for the all of the suggestions ladies!

I would love to go with Julia for the 1st name but my nephew is Julian and it is just too similar. We are a close family who sees each other alot and it would get complicated (even thought my sister says to use it, it doesn't seem right)

I am starting to really like Brooke for either middle or 1st. Cassidy is different in that it is not over popular (right now that is, but that can change at any time) Emma is sweet, just not sure yet??? I love Madison but wish it wasn't so popular! Oh, decisions, decisions!

I am still not settled on a name but getting all of this help and advice is just what I need, so thanks again everyone! Keep more ideas coming, even names that aren't on my list.

True, but the issue with Cassidy is that it's already peaked and is on it's way out. It peaked in 1999 (at #99) and has been steadily declining ever since. That's good news in that she likely won't have to share her name at school. But that bad news is that it already sounds pretty dated to most people I know. Even though Cassidy itself was never terribly popular, it was part of that "fake

How about Madeleine Grace Henry as opposed to Madison? I guess of the names you list, I prefer Emma but somehow Emma Henry seems a little too short e heavy. Madeleine is similar in style to Emma but in sound to Madison. It would be my pick!

I actually disagree that Cassidy sounds dated. Of course, this is my first foray into baby names - but I really like Cassidy a lot and I'm not sure why it would sound dated. It's actually really good that the name has peaked b/c less people will have it, but it won't make the name less beautiful and compelling. JMHO.

Feel free to disagree, but I stand by my statement.
