Congrats!

I voted for Emma, even though it's very popular, because it's a beautiful name. Eva is pretty, too. I think Emma has peaked, while Eva is getting more popular. Delaney is just nms. I'm not into the Irish-last-name-as-first-name trend. Unless it's a family name, it's just too trendy and I think it will "date" her much more than the other names. Just my opinion, but for a precious baby you've waited so long for, she needs a classic name, not a trend of the moment name.

I adore the name Delaney, I think it is great on a little girl and works well into adulthood. It is uncommon without being too weird, and the nn Laney is so cute.

Emma is everywhere now. It has been in the top two names for a couple of years now. There will more likely than not be 3 or 4 Emmas in her class every year.

Eva is nice (would be my second choice) but it a little too close to Ava which is skyrocketing in popularity here. Every playground I am at (we are in the midwest) has a little Ava running around.

Good luck and congratulations!!

Thanks for the advice. Eva was my grandmothers name so it means a lot to me. I think that is our top choice right now. I can hardly wait for my little girl, after 2 1/2 years and 3 miscarriages, this is truely the best!!! - Tara

Many blessings to you and your family Tara-what an exciting time! I voted for Eva. The other two are nice but I just love Eva-so pretty, easy to say and spell, not too popular. What a great name!
