I voted for Brenna. I think it’s very pretty. I also like Shannon!

Kelly Anne is not bad, but seems a bit dated. Same goes for Bethany.

I like Skylar but I prefer the Schuyler spelling. It just looks preppier to me, I guess you might say. But I do like the spelling Skylar better than Skyler, especially for girls!

I really, really like Carly as a FN on its own. The longer version of Carlyn does nothing for me. First of all, it reminds me of comedian George Carlin – and although I am a fan of his, I definitely wouldn’t want to name my DD anything that reminded anyone of him! Also, in my opinion most times if you start out wanting to call your child a NN, let’s say you wanted to call your son Charlie but you wanted him to have a “formal” name, so you used Charles NN Charlie, that makes sense. But IMHO Carlyn is less “formal” in a way than Carly. At least Carly is a recognized name. Carlyn has that “made up” feel to it. Of course that could just be me, though!

I like Angelina if you have an ethnic-sounding LN (Italian, Hispanic, etc), otherwise I think it would be too flowery/pretentious sounding. For most Anglo names, I prefer plain Angela. Angeline is NMSAA unless you are French and have a French LN. (JMHO, no offense or anything)

Maura, Maura, Maura, MAURA! Gorgeous, feminine, easy to spell. Lovely, lovely name!
