Millie (nn for either Amelia or Millicent)- I like Amelia, its cute. You could also use the nn Mia or Lia
Ruby- This name has been showing up on lots of posts, and I really can't stand it, sorry.
Liberty (festive...edd around 7/04)- Libby is a nice nn, but I really don't like the full name
Caroline- i LOVE caroline, this was my vote!
Eva- its pretty. I like Ava as well.
Annabelle- I really like this name too. NN Belle?
Isabelle- again, very nice. A very pretty name.
Chloe- I like Chloe, although I can't really see it on an older person, just a little kid
Maggie- I love Maggie, maybe nn for Margaret so she has other options when shes older?
London- nms at all

I like Caroline, Amelia and Isabelle the best.

I voted for Caroline, it's the only "real" name up there....

Real names.......argh. I'm getting too into this.

Anyway... :>)

I love love love Annabelle! It's so pretty......I'd use it if my ln didn't start w/ a B..
Other favorites: Amelia {also consider Mia, Lia, or Amy as possible NNs}, Margaret {nn Maggie isn't my favorite but Margaret is lovely},

Hi there,

My thoughts on your list:

Millie - Definitely needs a longer, more formal name. Millie is a nn to me. Amelia is lovely although gaining in popularity. Millicent stills seems too old lady and prudish to me. My choice is Amelia, nn Millie.

Ruby - It's okay in theory but I'm not sure I can really imagine a Ruby under the age of 55.

Liberty - not my style at all and not one that I can take seriously. It's seems kinda of trendy or like you were trying to hard to be creative or unique. Just my opinion though.

Caroline - fits in with my classic taste so of course I like it. It's an old stand by that sounds good in all generations. It's never trendy and right now it's not too overdone.

Eva - pretty as well but may become more popular as all the Ava lovers try to be a little different by switching that A to an E.

Annabelle - I like the name but all I can think about when I hear it is the Edgar Allen Poe poem called Anabel Lee. Very sad, rather morbid association for me.

Isabelle - I like it but I can't love it. I think it has to do with the fact that I can't find a nn that I love for it. Plus there are lots of Isabelles and Isabellas out there right now. Very popular the last 4 years in NJ and PA.

Chloe - I could never get into the groove with this one. Lots of people like it but I just can't seem to bring myself to care for it.

Maggie - Lovely as a nn, but needs a more formal name. (In my opinion.) Not crazy about Margaret though.

London - again NMSAA. Seems too trendy and creative but not in a good way. I've heard worse names so it's not like it's totally horrible but not something I would give a child.

I think Amelia and Caroline are my top two picks.

HTH!

I don't care for Millie too much, but I love Amelia, I would have voted for it, with nicknames of Mia or Mimi.

Good luck,
Ali
