How about Emmaline...you can use Emma as her nickname but then she also has a name that isn't super popular. The only thing I think is that Emma and Haley are very different styles...

Kacey would be nice. Maybe Keely? Lacey? Marly?

I voted for Kaylin, because I think it goes best with your other children's names. I think Haley and Katelyn would be cute for sisters. Also, my friend named her daughter Keelin, which would also go well, and get away from the long "ay" sound in both Haley and Kaylin.

Other names that I think would go well:

Allison

Aubrey

Avery

Chloe

Courtney

Emily

Jessica

Kirsten

Laurel

Lauren

Lindsey

Mallory

Natalie

Samantha

Zoe

The only name I liked on your list was Emma (sorry hon!). I agree with you that it is a common name but your other children's names are fairly common too. I think Emily or Emmaleigh might sound better with Hailey, though.

Hi! Here's my .02 opinion-

Kaylen is too similar to Haley, and Emma is too popular.

I really like McKinley, this spelling. I'm not sure if it's a great fit with your others, though. Plus, I have a feeling if dh likes Emma, he won't go for Makinley.

I tried to think of names that aren't too popular (for you) and not too unique (for your dh) Here are some I think sound good with the sibs-

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Jillian

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Laurel

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Annslyn

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Leah

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Sabrina

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Gretchen

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Nadia/Natalia

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Zoe

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Eve

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Bekka

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Brynna

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Raina

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Margo

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Paige

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Tabatha

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Miranda

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Mia

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Audrey

Scott, Haley, Jacob & Ashlynn

I agree with you - Emma is waaaaay too popular. but Kaylin sort of is too and it sounds too made up - there are way too many names like that now - too many that start with Kay and too many that end with lin, lyn, lee, leigh etc.

Makinley I have never heard as a first name, I just immediately think of Mt. McKinley.

so, sorry, I couldn't vote for any of them.

I like Mackenzie a lot, close to Makinley. I know one girl named Kyndle, I like that a lot too, sort of close to Makinley.

I even like Mikayla, that'd be sort of like a variation of both your Kaylin and Makinley.

good luck.

Emelyn or Emeline or Emmalin might be a nice combo of Kaylin and Emma

I have a friend who named her daughter Kaylin and she always has to correct people they call her Kaitlyn. My daughter is Hayley (pronounced Hay-Leigh) and we have people call her Hailey. After naming her that and the confusion it has made, I always think about names to see if it can be confused with something else.

Good Luck to you,

Kellie
