I voted Michael Trey because I think it flows the nicest. I definitely would have voted for Anderson if it was paired with a different mn.

Thanks for your input. My father (Michael) died when I was a teenager and I have always said I would honor him when I had a son. But, I don't love it for a first name and my DH doesn't either. We do however LOVE Anderson, so we are stumped. I just found out I am pregnant, so it may be another girl (I already have two). Do you have suggestions for using Michael for a girl. I am not crazy about McKayla or Micah. His middle name was George, so I am thinking of Georgia. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Leila

Here's a few suggestions. I don't think you can do much with George. I'm not fond of the name Georgia.

Geordi - I like this the best
Georgette
Georgianna
Georgianne
Georgina
Jora
Jorjanna - this one is ok

Mikelle/Makelle
Mikaia
Michelle
Mikala - a little different than Mikayla

Those are both tough names for me to come up with anything good. I hope you see something you like or at least triggers some more ideas for you.

I know it is a little dated but my name is Michelle after my grandfather Michael. I personally wouldn't use it as a first name, but it works really well as a middle name, for almost any name you like. My neice is Ivy Michelle, and there are thousands of other names it would work with, so if it were me wanting to honor a Michael, and I had a little girl, I would definatly use Michelle as the middle name. Also you could REALLY honor him twice because Georgia Michelle is a beautiful name! Good luck with whatever you decide!

Anderson Michael- Is Anderson a family surname? If yes, then I really like this. If no, it seems silly to me. Maybe Anders instead?
Chase Michael- I can't picture this on anyone over age 10.
Chad Michael- Love this
Michael Trey- I prefer Michael as a mn. Michael as a first name will inevitably (sp?) become Mike, and that seems so outdated to me. I like Michael in the mn better.

Edited to add:
I just read your post about honouring your father using Michael and I love that idea. I do think, however, that if you don't love it for a first name, then only pick something you love. It works wonderfully as a mn. I like the idea of Georgia for a girl, but I agree with you on Michaela/Mckayala- I am so tired of it! Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I am early in my pregnancy, but LOVE the name Georgia Michelle. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. It was right in front of me!! I think I was just thinking along the "Mike" sound of things. Michelle is a great alternative. And I like it!
