For girls the last few years is seems they are all named Kaitlyn--any spelling. Many go by Katie though. Morgan, Maddison, Mckenzie are others that I have been hearing a lot of as well.
For boys I seem to hear Aiden and Caden the most. Matthew is always popular, as is Dylan.
Pretty much the same in Al, but we also have a lot of double names, which I love but my husband hates. Could be a cute twist up in CT. I think it makes a lot of names that I don't love sound cute, very cute. For example I dislike Margaret but I think Mary Margaret is adorable. Mary Elizabeth and Mary Katherine are also popular. I think Ella Kate is cute.
We also have a tendancy to use use last names a lot (pretty much anyone who has a decent last name will use it for a first name). Some names I have hear like that are: Evans, Parker, McCaine, Jackson, Todd, Clay, Summers (the list goes on and on....). If we have a boy it will be Whitacre "Whit" for my mother in-laws last name.
I live in west central AL. I hear Clare, Emily, Brooklyn, Sawyer, Bo, William, Steven spelled both ways a lot. I used Christian William in 2004 and I know it is popular in this country but I hope its not too popular around here. I like the double names also.
