  • Peter Alexander (mn is baby's father's name)
  • Peter Grant (mn after Peter The Great, russian tzar)
  • Peter Anders (mn - patron saint of Russia)

You have great naming style! I have a nephew named Anders and if our baby were to be a boy, we were going to name him Grant. I voted for Alexander, though, because it really sounds nice with Peter. Good luck!

Here in sweden Anders and Peter are really common names.


Russian form of Peter is Petri and I have russian friends with name.


Nickname for alexander is Sasha and for Peter it is

Yes, we know they are common :) We like traditional names =)
My uncle's name is Petr (pronounced Pyotr). We always called him Petya (Peh-tya) or Petro (Pet-rOh). The latter nn having more of a ukranian flavor.

I call my fiance Sasha (his name is Alexander), but some of his friends call him Sanya or Shura.

Pasha is a nn for russian Pavel (Paul), definitely not Peter...
