Seventh Girl needs an "A" name! HELP!

We have a problem. I am due in 2 weeks with Baby #9. I have two sons (Nick and Paul) and six daughters. With the girls I started a tradition - all their names begin with "A" and they all have the middle name "Maria" (yes, we are Catholic:0))

The girls are Ariana, Ave, Anastasia, Alessandra, Amelia and Abigail.

I would really like to name this new girl something with any letter BUT an "A" (I'm really tired of A names...), but the girls will not let me! They say she will feel left out. The problem is there aren't any "A" names left that I really love. We can't use Ashley, Amber, or Amanda which are names of cousins or Andrea (my name), so don't suggest those.

Here is a list of possibilities. I'm not crazy about any of them, but I have to choose one. My question is which is your favorite and are there any that you think are absolutely terrible? Thanks for your help!

Adara Maria
Adelaide Maria
Adelaine Maria
Adeline Maria
Adelyn Maria
Adrienne Maria
Alivia Maria
Amara Maria
Ansley Maria
Alanna Maria
Aliza Maria
Angela Maria
Anthea Maria
Arabella Maria
Audrey Maria

I like Audrey Marie or Adrienne Marie best with your other girls. Since all the girls have a different consonant as the 2nd letter, I think the D sound of these names makes it sound a little different in a good way.

Other ideas:

Amaya Marie
Aria Marie
Analiese Marie
Angelina Marie
Angelica Marie
Annika Marie
Antonia Marie
Augusta Marie
Aviva Marie

Good luck!

Have you considered a saint name? I know other catholics who name all of their children after saints. We didn't do this, and it doesn't look like you have in the past, but it might be a great resource to help this time around. This site lists the saint names in alphabetical order.

The girls are Ariana, Ave, Anastasia, Alessandra, Amelia and Abigail.

Well, the new names that I'd suggest are
Avery Maria ---- I LOVE LOVE LOVE Avery
Ainsley Maria ------ This is dh's fav. girl name
Anna Maria ----- Maybe too trad.? I like Annie, also do like pron. 0-nna
Annabelle Maria ---- cute name
Alaina Maria ----- also cute, close to Elaina though
Aleah Maria ---- rhymes a little too much w mn, but like Alia.

Also from your list, the ones that I like the best are:

Adrienne Maria --- like the french spelling of this- very pretty
Alivia Maria ---- may be a little confusing to spell, since so close to Olivia
Ansley Maria ---- a nice variation of my Ainsley
Audrey Maria ---- classic, pretty

I would suggest Amelie, because I love it, but too close to Amelia.
Good luck! Let us know... I love A names too..

my favorites are Adelaide and Adeline. Wow - it must be hard to rattle all of those names off at once!! I agree that the seventh girl without an "A" name might feel left out...Then again, she might also feel a little sad she received a name you didn't like. For what it's worth, I LOVE both of the two above, and really like a lot of your others. Adelaide would be on my list if I didn't have a little niece named "Adleigh" - too similar for cousins in my family.

Good Luck!

I also like Avery and Audrey the best.

We are somewhat in the same boat we are Expecting #7 and all my Girls have "M" names
we have had a heck of a time trying to figure out this ones name ( seeing we cant use alot of "M" names becuase they are already used by family/friends), so I feel for your dilema :)

anyway good luck on your decision , whatever you pick will be perfect for your little one :)

I love your girls' names (Ariana, Ave, Anastasia, Alessandra, Amelia and Abigail). My daughter is named Amelia and we are expecting our second daughter and are also looking for an "A" name, and happen to be considering 3 of the names of your daughters! If your looking for an "A" name that you haven't heard before, but that does not sound too unique, you may want to consider Aldona - this is my Aunt's name and she loves it and we all love it as well. We have a variety of nicknames for her including, Donnie (pronounced Dough-nee), and Aldo, obviously there is also Donna.

Good Luck.
