Greetings everyone! I am searching for a name that will go well with Carson, our 2-year-old little boy. We do not know the gender of our baby. I tend to prefer different, not-so-trendy names while my husband likes ones that are a little more common. I've compiled a list of names from the SSA top 1,000 names for 2003 and we still cannot agree. Here is are a few example from my list so you know my style, keeping in mind my husband prefers names he has at least heard once or twice.
Girls: (the first few are a little too popular but I like them)
Anna
Ava
Ella
Audrey
Madelyn
Mya
Lydia
Kelsey
Kiara/Kiera
Delaney
Aubrey
Ansley
Avery
Boys:
Nathan(iel)
Evan
Hayden
Caden (would prefer to stay away from C's)
Gage
Nolan
Ansel
Declan
Emerson
Roan/Rowan
Sullivan
Landen
Everett
Kellen
Any and all suggestions are welcome!!

of your girls list I like Delaney and Aubrey the best. I also like Kelsey and Kiera. don't like Avery, Ansley or Mya, and the rest are too traditional-older for my tastes.
of the boys I like Gage and Landon the most - I like Nathaniel a little, although it's too traditional for me too.
good luck

I personally like Avery (my dd's name) and Mya for girls.
And I like Nolan, Evan and Emerson for boys.
Carter & Avery
Carter & Mya
Carter & Nolan
Carter & Evan
Carter & Emerson
Good luck!
Oh my God!!
I'm sorry, I put Carter not Carson. I had read a post about Carter before this one.
Carson & Avery
Carson & Mya
Carson & Nolan
Carson & Evan
Carson & Emerson
Again I'm sorry!
I love every name on your girls list, but Ella and Madelyn seem pretty popular right now so I would avoid those if it were me.
My favorites are Lydia, Avery, Delaney, and Audrey (they were our top four if we had a girl and we were going to use Katherine as a MN)
My favorites in the boys names are Caden, Gage, Landan, and Nathan (Also all names we considered before deciding on Caden Jeffrey.)
It is scary how similar your list was to mine.

From your lists my favorites in order are:
Girls
1.Delaney - I love love love this name!
2.Aubrey - like it much more than Audrey
3.Ava - so pretty, but becoming popular
I also like Kiera, but not with Carson
Boys
1.Evan
2.Rowan
3.Landen (prefer spelled Landon)
However these all end in the same sound as Carson, is that an issue for you?
Others you might like: Kieran, Davis, Mitchell, Holden, Logan, Preston, Miles, Drew
Ella or Emma
Sullivan (I like Sully)
Rowan
