TWIN BOYS!! What you you think?!?

OK guys...I've revamped the names I was thinking of before....we still like the names Jacob and Joshua for the twins....we didn't know that they were the #1 names for twin boys, until one of you gals let me know!!!

AJ, enjoying life with C.
Not only are they common, but just TOO SIMILAR! Tyler is a bit boring and Logan is okay. I would go with something a bit more uncommon since Jacob & Josh are so popular. Maybe these mn's:
Beck/Beckham/Beckett
Isaiah
Emmett
Nolan
Wade
Grisham
Griffin
Lockhart
Silas
Atticus
Everett
Rhett
Beau
Malak
Kai
Thane
Riordan
August
If you are POSITIVE on Jacob and Joshua, my fave combos are Jacob Beckett and Joshua Thane.

I think I like the second fn/mn set better than the first, but they're still the same names IMO. The mns don't change the fact that they're the most common names for twin boys, so quite obviously kind of cutesy/matchy/lacking individuality, KWIM?
I know many people are concerned about how popular their child's name will be, and it's one thing to have a few other girls named Emily in one's grade, but the fact that it's highly likely they'd even have another set of twin boys with the EXACT same names is kind of ridiculous, KWIM?
If I absolutely loved both names, I'd switch the order so both Js weren't the fns ... the matchy twin thing just isn't my style, though, so I realize that's just my opinion (only being "brutally honest" because you asked us to, so I'm hoping that doesn't offend). If it were me, I'd take a good look at the SSA's most common twin names list and avoid pairing any of them! ;)

Of the names you listed: Jacob Logan and Joshua Tyler.
I'd go for something a little more underused
Josiah is not common but could be shortened to Josh...
I LOVE the name Josiah...but DH overruled and my son is Joshua.
The middle names are both nice.
