You will be able to change your vote.

Just some more info on our naming criteria-
DH is Jewish and the tradition in his family is to name the baby using the first letter of the name of someone who has passed away.
I LOVE Sadie - it is such a great name. Sadie is simple, classic, and beautiful. Yes, this name has been on a slow and steady rise, but you will still be far ahead of any big trend. I think that parents are much more in love with Sophie than Sadie. If you both love it, then go for it! You might also like Sadie as a nn for Sarah.
Other Hebrew S names:
Samara - Guarded by God
Sela - rock
Simone - The listener
Susannah - A Lily
good luck,
Brooke
I voted "ok."
I voted "Love it," because I do think it's very sweet, but I'll admit I'm a big advocate of giving a child options, so I'd prefer it as a nn for that reason alone. It's not that it CAN'T stand alone -- if it were a mn, for example, I wouldn't mind it in the least -- it's just that she might like a longer or more mature/formal name to use at some point.
Just throwing some out there. ;)

It may have already been suggested, but have you considered Samara. Obviously honors Sam, AND it's Hebrew. FWIW, I think you could safely use Sadie as a nn for any Sa- name, so this one could be a "three-fer." ;)
Something like Samia/Samiya, Samina, Samira, Samuela or Samuelle might also work (just throwing out all the feminine Sam- names I could LOL).

If you like Sadie better than any of the other S options, I say go for it.
I voted love it. Not only is it adorable, it is less common than Sarah or Sara. It also has the benefit of the Beatles Song. :)
