Hi,
Do you mean to pronounce it 'cruise' or 'crooth'? The second is the traditional spanish way. In the US it's a man's name, but in spain it's a girl's name- David and Victoria Beckham (the most famous english soccer player and his spice girl wife) were ridiculed by the spanish press when they named their 3rd son Cruz earlier this year. That's another thing...Cruz Beckham will be the same age as your son, and depending on his teenage/adult exploits, you may or may not want to have your little guy associated with him...

I would pronounce it cruise when speaking to him in English, as would most of our friends/family I think. I knew that Becks had named his child that, but I didn't realize it was a girl's name in Spain, thanks for the input. : )
