Are you using Tylie just to get Ty, because it looks very made up. If you like Ty, I'd suggest spelling it Tai or even Thai. It looks more like a valid name than a nn with those spellings. I knew a girl in HS with the name Tai, and she was super cool and creative.

Good Luck!!

it's amazing what one letter can do - I like Kylie a lot, feel that Rylie is OK but I don't generally care for unisex names, but Tylie I don't like at all. it just sounds way too made up. and why would you want a girl to go by the nickname Ty anyway?

when she's little people could also assume her name is really Kylie, but that she can't pronounce Ks yet and is substituting a T. that's almost what it sounds like to me anyway.

if you need a T name similar to that - how about Taleen. I know one young lady named that (in her late 20s now) - her mom had read it in a book somewhere and liked it. I think it's very pretty, very feminine.

good luck.

I think Tylie is adorable - but Ty, well, I had an idea to name my next son that! At least for a nickname. I admit that my nose is a bit bent out of joint because of all the cute boys' names being taken by little girls, lately! But, objectively, I do like the nickname Ty.

Best of luck to you,

Kira
