I thought after my twins were born on April 15, 2006, i thought that I could have named one Camden. I think it is very cute, but don't know if it is reallt for a boy or girl or both?? What do you think of the name???

I think you should just go through the responses to the post below called Rylin Lara or Camdyn Lara. Some of the posts have to do with the spellings of those names, but you'll learn everything you need to learn about what people on this board think of Camden if you just read that. It's pretty inclusive.

I don't like it for either - reminds me of Camden, NJ - ick! But, I would say it's more girl than boy b/c it's close to Cameron and Cameron to me is more of a girl name since I went to middle school and HS with a girl named Cameron.

I have a very masculine nephew named Camden and it doesn't seem feminine on him. The only way it seems feminine is spelled with a "y". There are so many names now that can go either. It is in the boy section of the baby books along with Riley and many others. It all boils down to your own personal taste.

Very trendy, I'm not a fan. It's one of those names I used to like when I was a little kid, but now I realize how bad it sounds.

I love Camden for a boy but I could see it being used on a girl as well.
