We may have decided on a name!! Now we just need the middle name...
- Amelia Maurine
- Amelia LeeAnne
- Amelia Caroline
- Amelia Lindh
- Maurine was my grandmother's name
- Lee is SIL's mn; Anne is MIL's and my mn
- Carol is MIL's name
- Lindh was grandmother's maiden and later middle name
- last name is Gensel with a hard g.

Apparently I'm in the minority, so it might just be me, but I found it quite difficult to say Amelia LeeAnne aloud. The -lia sound at the end of Amelia ran into LeeAnne and made it quite a tongue twister. Again, must just be me, but thought I'd mention it.
Oh, and I voted for Amelia Caroline, btw. Thought they were both classic, feminine names that flowed well together.
No matter what mn you choose, though, I think Amelia is a beautiful choice. It's on our short list now, although I'm still not sure if it fits with our ln (McCormick). Might be too "M-ey?" Anyway, great choice! HTH! :)

Thanks!! I really appreciate the feedback.
I had originally been leaning toward Maurine just because of my emotional ties to my grandmother who passed away many years ago. Now I am giving Caroline another shot, which makes DH happy, since DS's middle name is from my side of the family. Luckily, we still have three months to decide. My grandmother's birthday was March 14, so if this baby is born on that day.... I almost HAVE to name her mn Maurine.
thanks again to all that voted or replied.

I am personally attached to the name Amelia because that is what we named our three year old. We get so many complements on the name and am so happy that we decided on it. My daughter is Amelia Noelle and I think that it flows really well as well as complements the name.
