I know a girl named Darby, she is almost 18. I went to school with her. She was a unique kinda person(good unique), She was fair skined with freckles and strawberry blonde hair. she was quite but funny I really liked her, she had an awesome personality. I like the name.

I like it. I think I prefer it for a boy rather than a girl, but there might be some confusion.

I like it but I'm not sure if it's better for a girl or boy. I guess that means that it would work for either one. It's different but not strange. It would definately grow on me. Go for it!

It sound too much like Barbie. If you we're to use it I think its definitely better for a girl.

I have heard this name before, only on girls, but I agree with the pp that it sounds too close to Barbie for me to like it. It's also a city near Philadelphia that's known for being not-so-nice, so I wouldn't personally use it anyway. I don't remember if anyone's suggested it, but you might also like Darcy. I do think this could be sweet, and it doesn't have the Barbie sound either, so that's a plus. ;) Just a thought!

I am not a fan of Darby, we had one little boy at my old job named Darby, and it just never grew on me. I know someone already suggested Darcy, but what about Dacee? We also had a little girl in pre k where I used to work named Dacee, and that kinda grew on me, although I wouldn't use it myself, I like it better then Darby. Sorry!

It doesn't appear to be very popular in the polls which is a good thing.
