I love Sloane (I prefer this spelling). I think it's more for boys than girls, but I really love it on a girl.

I think the name Sloan is very unique and interesting. If you are going to use it for a baby girl... I would add an 'e' ant the end. Sloane. I think it looks more girly.
But it still sounds nice!! Good Luck.

nms stands for "not my style" -- we use it to mean that a name is nice, just not the type of name that is our prefernce. (For example: Personally, I like either surnames or old fashioned/classic names. So while I think Piper is a cute name, it's nms)
