I wouldn't mind it if it was a NN. I really can't see it on a grown business man unless it was a NN. Sorry.

A very good friend of mine named her son (1/2 Italian) David Rocco and they call him Rocco.


It did take some getting used to.

It's always been an animal or pet name to me. But like the PPs say it's alright as a NN or MN.

Reminds me of Madonna ... her little boy is named Rocco. (The son she had w/ Guy Ritchie ... "Rocco Ritchie." Oy)

My dh name is Rocco. As a child he was called Rocky. I would not use it as a first name for my children. I did use it as a middle name for my oldest son. His parents were both born in Italy, but he wasn't. He was born in New Jersey and said there were a lot of Rocco's there when he was growing up. I am from So. CA and never knew anyone with that name.

Its not a bad name, but i cant get past the cartoon of the (almost) same name..
