There's a town in Colorado (where I live) called Larkspur, so I'm not sure I can think of it as a name. Love Lark, though.

I really like Lark and Larken, but I don't like Larkspur at all. Sorry.

Larken Trish would be really nice.

I know it's a flower, but "spur" makes me think of cowboys.

Well I really like the name Lark, and the road I live down is called "Larkspur road" it is the name of a flower. it is pronounced Lark-spur. Just the way it is spelled. I wouldnt have thought to use it as a name before I saw it in my baby name, and now I love it! I dont think it is that much odder then Jenifer, except that Jennifer is comomn.

I considered Larken but I personally think Larkspur has a lot more personality to it. It is one of those names that people don't like at all at first but after a while it grows on them, and then they love it. Larken is to much like Laken wich is way to comon. But thanks anyways!! opinions are always welcome.

I really like Larkspur. It's a beautiful flower and as a name, it's similar to other unusual flower names like Lilac, Lavender, Magnolia, and Dahlia. Lark as a nn is cute, also.
