Isn't Nico a boy's name? I'm sorry but I just can't see Nico on a girl.

I voted for Rebecca because it is a great mn and if Nico ever wants a different option of a name to go by Rebecca offers many choices.

I think Nico Rebecca looks pretty too :)

When I saw the post I thought Nico was a boy. I was very shocked to see Rebecca when I opened it. I voted for Josephine but I think EVERYONE will think Nico is a boy.

I voted for Eleanore, but Josephine could just as easily been my choice, and I also have a strong preference for the Scottish spelling of Isobel, but the current popularity of Isabella edged that one out of the top-two tie for me. Actually, I think all five choices are lovely. However, I would personally probably eliminate Rebecca, only because I don't think it flows very well with Nico. I prefer a name with a stressed first syllable after Nico, which includes your other four choices, and out of those four I don't think you can go wrong. The double unstressed syllables of NI-co re-BEC-ca just doesn't sound right to my ear.

I have to concur with most of the other posters - I just can't see Nico on a girl at all

Hi guys- I know in my previous post that not too many of you were sold on Nico for a girl. But a few of you also responded about female singers named Nico, and I also heard of another little girl (not in my area, though) with the same name. DH and I just really love it so we're hoping that because unisex names appear to be on the upswing anyway, Nico won't be considered too crazy.
I wasn't sure about MN Rebecca but it's nice to see positive comments about it. It's DH's mothers name, and she passed away last year so we'd like to honor her, but we were still considering a few others just in case. I really like it spelled Rebekah, but I don't think we'd change it from his mother's spelling if that's what the final choice was. Eleanore is my grandmother's name, and Josephine is my great-grandmother. Catherine is DH's grandmother's name- we were trying to keep some great family names going. As for Isobel, ah, we just really like it, especially that spelling. But I really appreciate all of your input- if there's any more, I'd welcome that too! Thanks so much!
