The only name that me and my husband can agree on for our unborn baby girl is Trinity Jade. Problem is, everyone in our families hate the name. What do you think?

I love the name Trinity Jade. Trinity is one of my favorite names for a girl.
I would go ahead and use it, but if the family's opinion really matters to you there are some similar names you could use like Tristan (which i also love!), or Trista.
Hope this helps and let us know what you decide!

I am with your family here, I don't like Trinity (too religious, but not in the right way, too Matrixy, too silly sounding) or Jade (at least it is not Jaden, I love Jade compered to Jaden). I like a previous posters recommendation of Teirney, I also like Tenley and Taryn.

I really like this name. My niece is Jade so I may be a little biased. :-)

Trinity is a nice name. I'm not crazy about the way it sounds with Jade, but if you like it, that's what you should go with. It seems to me that Trinity would flow better with a middle name that had an R in it...I don't have any R name preferences, but maybe something like Trinity Renee, Trinity Rianna, etc.

Good luck!

I have to side with your family on this one. Whenever I think of the name "Trinity" I always think of the nasty Trinity River that runs through DFW-YUCK! OTHO, if you are a practicing Christian then Trinity might be a good name to use to honour the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jade-that's a little too trendyish for me. Plus the name always reminds me of Jade Barrymore.

I think it's really pretty. Very feminine, yet not overly common. Nice choice.

my advice is:

don't tell anybody the baby's name until it's born

Personally, I LOVE the name, because Trinity is the name my partner and I have chosen for our baby, if it's a girl! (We are both very religious and chose the name to honor the Holy Trinity - its not a tribute to the Matrix or the river! hehehe)

Jade is a name I haven't even thought of! I think it sounds beautiful and creative. Go ahead and name your baby what you feel comfortable with - your families will deal with it, and maybe someday learn to love this beautiful name!
