Gorgeous taste...

Iris - Beautiful, with a bit of a hippie feel, at least for me :)
Vera - A nice, very uncommon classic. I would love to see this make a comeback
Adela - I prefer the other Addie names- Adelia, Adele, Adeline, Adelaine, Adelaide, etc. Adela seems incomplete
Isadora - Very pretty.
Cecilia - Prefer Cecelia or Celia. Dislike this spelling
Matilda - My first choice right now :) Love it, so spunky
Imogene - Just okay, but love Imogen
Diana - Nice, but not as "sparkling" as the others
Vivian - eh, okay
Ida - okay

I LOVE this list!

  • Iris - lovely and spunky, all rolled into one
  • Vera - I like this a lot
  • Adela - love all the "Ada" names, Adela included
  • Isadora - love this. A great alternative to the ever-popular Isabelle/a (I actually prefer Isadora, myself).
  • Cecilia - one of my top ten, and this is definitely my preferred spelling (Saint Cecilia is spelled this way and the name is a feminine form of Caecilius, also the "cil" spelling. Cecelia is considered a variant). ;)
  • Matilda - absolutely love it. Need I say more? LOL Oh, yeah ... this gmv.
  • Imogene - I think Nikki already mentioned this, but while I like Imogene, I love Imogen.
  • Diana - another classic choice, but I think some of the others have a bit more spunk.
  • Vivian - love it in general, but since you have some less common options here I'd love to see you use one of those. Vivian seems to be rising on the tails of the Evie names.
  • Ida - always had a soft spot for Ida. Similarly, you could use Ada as a shortening of Adela, since you also have that on your list. ;)

Again, this is a wonderful list! HTH

What a great list!

Iris - this has been my favorite name for years! I plan to use this on my first daughter and it gmv. I love how this name fits in with the flower trend, but unlike the other flower names: Lily, Ivy and Violet, Iris has not spiked in popularity. It has stayed about the same on the SSA charts at spot 360. Rose has also stayed the same, 333.

Vera - my least favorite. I don't know why but this name feels heavy.

Adela - so pretty, I love the nn Dela and Ada

Isadora - I know I shouldn't, but I still love Isabel. Isadora just makes me think of the cartoon show Dora

Cecilia - very nice, I prefer just Celia.

Matilda - this name is growing on me, my second favorite on your list

Imogene - very British

Diana - This is actually still in the top 100, I know zero

Vivian - ehh, I like others more

Ida - nms, have you thought about Isla (Eye-la)?

Good luck,
Brooke

I like all of the names on your list and I could see them all being used as sibs.

YOu have a lot of great names on your list! I voted for Cecilia, but I also really like Matilda and Imogene. I like Imogene because I have never met an Imogene outside of the UK, so it would be a great classic name that would probably not sky rocket into popularity like we have seen Emma do!
