I chose Jordan because - even though I prefer it for a girl - I liked it best out of the names you chose. Also, I really like the idea of naming your son after your maiden name! I think that's a great tradition.

Jarrett -- my favorite of your choices

I like Jackson but spelled that way, not Jaxon

I don't like Jess or Jordan for a boy... they sound more like girls' names to me now (maybe not 10 years ago).

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth has a son named Justice. He used to go to my DD's school.

Not too keen on Jory.

Instead of Jaxon, why not Jackson, nn Jax? That would be my vote.

I voted for Jarrett - I really like it spelled Jared, but Jarrett is OK too

Jaxon (it still sounds like Jackson no matter how you spell it) has gotten a little popular

Jess for a boy is usually Jesse pronounced Jessie, but I just think there are too many little girls named Jessica who go by Jessie and that Jesse for a boy is too feminine

Justice is a word that maybe has too much of a meaning and then for it also to be so close to your lost child's name, I just wouldn't recommend that

Jordan is good - but girls are using it too

Jory sounds too girlie

another Jerry alternative I have heard is Jaren and I like that

my favorite J boys name is Joshua - you didn't have that on your list, could that be a possibility?

good luck

lol Joshua is definately on the list! i just didn't put it in the poll because i already knew i liked that one :) i'm a little worried about Joshua not fitting with Corbin though... but i like it anyway. see DH wants to stay with the initials of either C.S. (his) or J.D.(mine). one of our C names is Caleb. we are also bible buffs lol. so as a J option I like Joshua because Joshua and Caleb were the only 2 original israelites to make it to the promiseland.

and to me Jared and Jarrett are 2 different names. i also wanted to call him Rhett as a NN. DH has a cousin named Jared and we have the same last name too so i was looking for something not Jared.

I LOVE Jaxon! Especially this spelling! This has been on my list since my first pregnancy! It's DH's number one pick if we have a boy *** SEND BABY DUST***! Just glad to see I'm not the only "rebel" who likes the "wrong" spelling of names!
