Is Caley a family name? If not, I would probably not use it. It looks like a misspelled version of the girl's name Kailey, which is very cutesy and trendy. However, if it is a family name I can see your reasoning for using it.

I really like both Jude and Leo (I already commented about Leo in your other thread), but none of these combos seem to flow perfectly. Jude Leo seems a bit choppy. As another name to consider, I have heard Jude used as a nn for Julian. Just something to think about... Judah/Judas is obviously another option.

Although I like the names on your list, I think I would have to hear the reasoning behind Caley to make a final decision.

I love Irish names, such as Sullivan, Finnegan, Lorcan, Darby, etc. DH does not like many of the names I like, but he does like Jude, Leo, and Caley. He also does not like any longer names that those could be nicknames for. Caley is an Irish boys name (correct spelling). Our last name is one syllable, so I thought all of these short names sounded choppy also, but I cannot figure anything else out. I also love Henry and Jasper (he hates them). As far as the girl names, Lainey and Charley, he also hates the longer versions of these names as well. This is very hard, but I'm the type of person that likes to have names picked out in advance, hoping that if I still like them next year, they will be good ones to use. Thanks for your input; I completely understand your points, but I'm just stuck.
