Which do you like for a girl's name? My other two are Makenzie & Ashley.

  • Ella
  • Chloe
  • Blair
  • Sydney
  • Savannah
  • Are any of these too popular?
  • Middle name suggestions needed too please!

Blair is a great choice. It's very lovely and underused.

I voted for Sydney, but only because it has a little soft spot in my heart. (I have an adorable 3 year old cousin by the same name) In my personal opinion, all of them are too popular. The exception would be Blair, which I have always considered to be a boys name, and I don't really like it for either gender.

I love the name Blair and it is my favourite from the list, but with such girly sibling names I just didn't feel it "went". I like Sydney best with Ashley and Makenzie... it is of the same style I find. Savannah is also nice. Chloe seems so cutesy to me and doesn't age well and I prefer Ella as a nn (Eleanor/Elizabeth/Eliza/Elena...etc.)

    Have you considered:
    Sarah nn Sadie
    Faye
    Lauren
    Delaney
    Bridget
    Sophie
    Claire

I really like Makenzie, Ashley, and Sydney Claire.

As for mn's, I suggest picking a mn after a family member or friend you want to be honoured. I think that gives the name so much meaning. I always wished growing up that I was named after someone, rather than just a name my parents picked.
If you don't have someone you wish to honour, why not let a special person (ex. grandmother, aunt, etc.) pick the mn. That would also be a special connection.
