You will be able to change your vote.

Hard to say without knowing the ln or even how many syllables (would you be comfortable maybe posting something it sounds like?), but I think it'd be safe to say if it ends with a "zee" sound, I'd avoid a fn with that exact same (or similar) sound, including Makenzie/Kenzie, Izzy and possibly Lexi (again, depending on the actual name).
However, a few of these could be nns for longer names that wouldn't present this problem at all ... Abigail _____zee, Madeline _____zee, Elizabeth _____zee, Izabel/Isadora _____zee, etc. I don't think it's as big a deal if the nn doesn't "flow" as well with the ln (because they aren't used together as often as the given fn and ln, KWIM?). HTH!

I'm going to pretend your last name is Kinsey. With that said, I don't like most of the names as given first names, but I think they all make good nicknames. Here's what I think
# Abby/Abbie- Abigail Kinsey- sounds okay, but it's not my favorite
# Maddie/Madi- Madeleine Kinsey- this works
# Makenzie- Don't like at all
# Kenzie- Don't like at all
# Lexi- Alexis Kinsey- this works
# Courtney Kinsey- I haven't heard this name much lately. It's not as trendy as some of the others.
# Libby- Elisabeth Kinsey- This is my favorite
# Izzy- Isabelle Kinsey- This is a close second
LOL ... my maiden name was Kinsey ... you'd think I would have thought to use that as a measure since we don't know the real ln here (but I didn't ... pregnancy brain LOL). ;)~ Just thought it was funny.

I have the same problem. My surname is MacKenzie, ending in that 'zee' sound and a lot of the girls names I like have a fairly prominent 'ee' sound in them. I ended up going with Josephine and calling her Josie, which at least avoids the 'ee' ending when her name is used in full.
I voted for Abby, but I'd suggest going with Abigail, nn Abby. Easier for her to live with as an adult!
