I really like the name Bailey for a girl but I think it depends on where you live. In the US it seems to be a really popular girls name. But in Australia it is seen as a boys name.

Honestly (and I am not trying to mean or cruel here), I would have voted for neither if that was an option. I know so many dogs with the name Bailey. I just don't care for it at all on a person, don't think it sounds great on an adult(ie Senator Bailey?). And changing the spelling does not make it any more "girly", it is still pronounced the same way. JMHO.

Good luck.

I really don't like Bailey at all on either gender, but its better on a girl.

I prefer Bailey for a girl, and I like the spellings Bayleigh, Baylie, or Bailie.
