Beautiful sig made by Ana, Anaroll!
Here are some explanations:
The middle name we've chosen is Heartlein, which was my Grandmother's maiden name. However, if we use an "H" name, then her middle name will probably be Valentine... kind of cheesy considering she will most likely be born in February, but it's a family name that I've wanted to use since before Weston was even conceived. I guess Heartlein could be considered cheesy too because of the "heart" in it, lol! Lets just hope she's not born on Valentine's day!
Meredith is one of my favorites. I didn't even think of it as a choice until Thanksgiving, while I was watching the parade w/ Meredith Vierra (sp?) I was worried it was too popular, but it's popularity reigned in the 70's and has died off... which makes me wonder if it's too "outdated". But, I think it's really classic and sweet and it does sound great with Weston. If she comes out quiet and shy, I think this might be her name as I think of someone like that when I think of "Meredith".
Kajsa is one of my favorites. We can spell it the "American" way, which is what we will probably do if we end up using it. It can be spelled numerous ways and 4 ways are listed as spellings in my family blood line: Kajsa, Kaisa, Cajsa, and Caisa. We will probably go for the "Caisa" spelling, if we use it, as the "K" names are super popular right now. When I think of a Caisa/ Kajsa, I think of someone fun and spunky so if she comes out that way, we will probably use it.
I do have to keep in mind that our last name is just stupid ridiculous and no American can say or spell it correctly (I can't even say it right half the time).
DH LOVES the name Abigail and wants to use it. My middle name is Gail, so that's why. I like the name but can't stand the popularity of it. Though it's not "trendy" because it's an established name so that makes it more "useable" in my book. But, I'm still not sure because it is so popular.
I really like Tessa but I worry it's not going to fit well on an older person. I also don't want people to start calling our kids "Wes and Tess". I love how it sounds with Weston, though. I think it's a fantastic match.
Ingrid is one we've been thinking over. It was my college roommate's name and she is one of my favorite people in the whole world. DH goes back and forth between liking it or not so we probably won't use it.
Hadley is actually a surname in my family. I think it sounds good with Weston and is a cute name. I hope it's not too cute for a 90 year old, though, KWIM?
Romilly is a favorite of mine but the whole pronunciation thing is what's keeping me from being 100%, especially with our last name. DH likes just "Romy" but a Dutch friend of his parents has this name and I don't want anyone to think we are naming our kid after her. Plus, I'd rather name her the full Romilly and have the option to shorten it to whatever fits her later.
Annika is what Weston was going to be if he was a girl. But, then I started seeing it EVERYWHERE on these boards and other places so I thought it was going to be super popular. But, last year, it was only number 327 or something like that. I do fear it's going to keep gaining popularity, though. It's such a great and classic name and we have reason to use it, as many of my female ancestors were named Annika. My dad is seriously pushing for this name, as it's his favorite. He didn't even know it was our choice for Weston when he came to me a few weeks ago and said he found a perfect name for us to use.

First, I voted for Hadley once I read that it was a family surname. I think it matches Weston in style and that it will age well. IMO it is not too cute, etc.
Meredith - I think that this name is dated, sorry
Kajsa or Caisa - this name would trip me up on pronunciation. I really like Cassia though
Abigail - I think that Abigail and Weston go great together. What about the under used nn, Ayla (Eye-la) instead of Abby/Abbie? This might be a great way to use this name! Weston and Ayla would be a great pair.
Tessa - Hmm...Wes and Tess would drive me nuts!
Ingrid - NMS
Hadley - See above
Romilly (nn Romy) - Romy is cute, but Romilly sounds harsh on my ears
Annika - ok, I am just not into this name, but others seeem to like it
I think Kajsa or Caisa is a beautiful name. There was a girl i worked with a while ago who was Ukrainian and named Kasia, pronounced Kha-zha. She was in the same graduation ceremony that I was, and I think it was a nickname for Katarina, but i think it was beautiful. Unique, pretty and elegant. lol since all i have is a cat right now, I was planning on naming a second kitty Kasia (fk is Nissa, also a swedish name meaning "Friendly elf" :) or at least that was what the website said it meant! )but Kasia and Nissa are too similar lol.

I couldn't vote because I like all of the names you're considering.
I had the hardest time voting...I love all of these. Eventually, my vote went to Ingrid because it's lovely and familiar, yet not overly popular. Meredith, Tessa, and Annika are all lovely. Hadley is great, but has a different feel than the other names; with Weston, I think a female name needs to be more definitively feminine...but I do still love the name Hadley. And Romilly is so pretty, too.
I know a Kaisa from Croatia. She pronounces it ki-AY-sah (ki rhyming with "eye", ay ryhming with "say). So you may have some pronunciation problems with this name. I think the others are so great...I'd choose one of them over a name that may be confusing in the future.
I just wanted to comment, my sons name is also Weston, what a great choice :) he is almost 3, we are expecting #2 in June and Annika was on our long list, so that is what I voted for.
