I didn't really like the flow of Emma with any of the fn's. Emma seems more like a fn and doesn't go well in the mn slot, so I voted purely on the fn's, leaving the mn out.
Madeleine - I do like the name, but it is really popular, especially with the similar Madison, and Maddie is getting tired
Elizabeth - Like this. Although a bit plain, a spunkier nn can make it more unique, and there are many to choose from.
Sophie - very sweet and feminine.

With Anna, I also really like Clara/Claire, Catherine, Faye, Rebecca, and Cynthia.

Thanks Niki - I forgot to add that Emma is my mothers name which is why I am using it. My husband is really set on using family names - I know they don't flow very well - our last name is a name that doesn't seem to flow well with ANY name I choose so I don't mind if it doesn't flow just as long as they don't sound especially horrid together.

My daughter Anna is named after my grandmother and myself - DH named her so I get to name the next one LOL

I think I like Elizabeth the best but I'm also stuck on Sophie because it sounds better with Anna and I just like Madeleine - the only other one I have met was over 50.

I know all the names are pretty popular but I don't mind as it is hard enough for me to find a name I love without worrying about it being popular LOL

In the case that Emma is a family name, I totally agree with you that flow of the name doesn't matter as much. I like all of the names as a sister to Anna, which is just beautiful. They all go nicely. Have you considered Charlotte Emma? The flow is nice and I love Anna & Charlotte.

Thanks Niki - I just made another post asking for names that go with Emma.

I think Charlotte sounds lovely - I'll have to put it on my list and run it by my very hard to please DH - he is the biggest obstacle when it comes to names - doesn't like hardly anything and is very stubborn about what he will accept :{

Have you considered making Emma the first name as it is a family name for you and it goes well as a first name? Perhaps Emma Catherine or something along those lines?

-Jamie (also using a family name for this one if it is a girl)

I've always loved the name Elizabeth because it sounds great as a full name and there are so many great nns to choose from.
