OK, let's see. Sister is Lissie Covington. Options for twin sister:

Ayla Covington
Noella Covington
Thea Covington

I'm having a hard time getting my eyes and ears around Ayla. Don't love the sound. Noella is pretty. Thea is just OK. Do you live in Great Britian? Noella and Dorothea sound like they might be more common over there.

In South U.S.

Dorothea is a "prettified version" of grandmother Dorothy Gertrude. Noella is for g-ma Catherine Ella, because Ella alone is too popular.

Ayla, they just like. Corliss, they just like.

Thanks for comments! I will pass them along. Ginger

I chose Noella ... because I think it's beautiful, but also because with Catherine, I think that Ayla and Thea are too short/nnish...and Dorothea is nms.. Noella is very beautiful imo and works with Catherine.. although they might want to use the nn Ella (even thought they see the given name as too popular) since they call Catherine Lissy...just a thought :)

I voted for Dorothea but with Catherine Corliss/Lissie I'd go for something like Dorothea Trude nn Thea or Trudie.

I prefer Dorothy over Dorothea, and, really, over all the names listed. Noella is a little bit of a stretch for me. Ayla I just don't like. Is Thea pronounced Thee-uh? just wondering. Thea pronounced Tay-uh would be lovely with sister Lissie.

By the way, I adore Catherine Corliss. What a lovely choice. Good luck to your friends!
