I voted for Helena because I LOVE that name, but I'd prefer Jane or Josephine as the mn instead.

I picked Elise but I would have voted for Jane Evangeline with no nn. I love Jane:)

I first eliminated all of the names where the nn comes from the mn because that seems pointless to me. For example, if you will call her Evie, which not name her Evangeline Jane? That just makes more sense to me. So of the options left...

Josephine Eve (Josie) This gmv. I love the classy feel and the name itself is beautiful. Josie is adorable on a little girl and Josephine works for any age.
Sabrina Raine (Bree)This is nice. Raine isn't my style, I prefer Sabrina Jane or Sabrina Eve, but Sabrina is nice.
Helena Rebecca (Lena) - Gorgeous. It was tough to choose between this and Josephine Eve, but I decided against this only because I dislike that both names end in the same sound. Helena Eve would be better.
Elise Rebecca (no nn) Very pretty, I love the combo.

My dd is Sabrina Skye, and at school goes by Bri (Bree), so I voted for Sabrina Raine!

I, too, love Helena but with a middle name that doesn't end with an "a" and I wouldn't shorten the name.

All of the Names you picked are very pretty so are the nick names.
I just really dislike nick names. If that is what you are or are not going to call your child why wouldn't you just name her/him that? I've always just thought of nick names as silly. :) Good luck

I understand your perspective about nicknames. I agree, for instance, that it's really silly to name your child a name you detest just because you like the nickname. Nicknames originated in times when 2 in 10 men was a John or a Henry (or an Augustus or Claudius), after all, and now there are so many names out there to choose from that nicknames aren't necessary. But, nicknames have other purposes as well. Many of us have to or want to use a family name, but find the name itself too grown-up for a baby or a grade schooler.

Or, in my case, some of the names that I like most are really "nickname-y," and I wouldn't feel comfortable using them as the full name. I don't want to call my toddler Margaret or Keziah all of the time, but I equally can't picture Maisie or Kizzy sending out their resume in 20 years with those names at the top. The nicknames that many of us love don't sound especially adult or professional. Giving my child a full name that I love, which also has a nickname that I plan to use frequently feels to me like a responsible way to provide him or her with flexibility in the future. There are a lot of places where first impressions matter, and having a name which sounds flighty, overly sexy or very young can count against you.

Speaking personally, I go by Becky 100% of the time on a day to day basis, and I like my name very much, but I am incredibly grateful to be able to put Rebecca on my resume, on my published work.
