Nice list! I honestly couldn't vote (I'll have to think on it LOL). For now I'll post my thoughts, if it helps.

Amelia -- love it. It's a bit similar to the Emily/Emma names, of course, but I think Amelia can hold its own. You might also consider Amelie, Amalia, Emelina or Emeline.
Annabel -- one of the few "belle" names I don't mind. The -bel spelling is so much nicer, and the possible shortenings Anna or Annie are very sweet.
Elinor (nn Elle) -- love Elinor, but prefer the less-common nn Nora. If that had been an option, it would have tipped the scales for me, but as is I like it about the same as the others.
Elizabeth -- Elizabeth is classic. I don't think many could NOT like it. So really this one would probably depend on which of the many nns you intended to use, if any. I don't care for Liz, for example, but Betsy (to steal from the poll I just left LOL) is very sweet.
Marielle -- my least favorite. Just seems a different style than your other choices. And while I can't quite put my finger on why, this isn't a name I would use without a specific reason (honoring a Marie, for example).
Vivian (nn Vivi) -- love it. This nearly got my vote, but I like a lot of the others just as much, so I'm holding off. LOL

Again, great list!

Annabel, Annabel, Annabel.

Can you tell that I voted for Annabel? When I was pregnant with DS our girl name was either going to be Rebecca Elizabeth or Annabel Georgiana. I LOVE the name Annabel, and although the rest of your list was also beautiful names, I have Annabel tunnel vision. I may still have a daughter named Annabel. Anyway, here's my commentary on the rest of the names.

I like Amelia, but like the pp said it does resemble a lot of the more popular Emma and Emily sounding names and that sort of puts me off.

You know what I think about Annabel.

While I like the name Elinor, I much prefer the "Eleanor" spelling, and if you were really married to the other spelling I wouldn't really like it at all.

Elizabeth is a beautiful classic, but doesn't have as much character as a lot of the other names on your list. It is a very distinguished and feminine name, but it's less outstanding to me.

I don't really like Marielle at all. I can't put my finger on why because it is a pretty name, but maybe it's just that it doesn't really compare to your other choices.

I personally do not really like the name Vivian. I don't think it travels through life with a child very well. Yes, it is fitting when she's older (like adulthood), but I don't think it's

I wrote a reply to you both, but it hasn't shown up...

Anyway, hope this doesn't repeat- I agree about Amelia and it wasn't at the top of my list so I'm fine with letting it go. Annabel is sweet and will stay on the list. I am stuck on the Elinor spelling, both because it's different (never really cared for the French spelling) and for the Jane Austen character. Don't think DH cares for it though. Elizabeth always makes my list- it's so classic, but I am looking for something that stands out a bit more.

I can't believe you don't like Marielle!! That's one of my top 2! Maybe it's the pronunciation: it's "Mary-Elle" NOT "Mary-Ulle". I've only heard it twice in my life- once from a woman from Holland. I think it may be more common overseas.

I like Vivian/Vivien/Vivienne just because I do. I think "V" or "Vivi" are cute nn's. (Did you read Secets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood?) But DH doesn't care for it either!

Anyway, thanks for your input! I really appreciated it and will consider your advice.
