  • Last name is Hafer (pronounced 'Hey-fer')
  • Grandmother and mother are Catherines - that's the 'Kate' part
  • Mother in law's mn is Lynn

I actually like the look of Katelyn better, but since it has the MIL connection I might be more opt to use Katelynn. Otherwise, you could use any of the Kaitlyn spellings, since I believe they share the same meaning as Catherine anyway. Also, since your mother and grandmother are both Catherine (with a C), have you considered using maybe Caitlyn or another C-spelling? Just a thought! The name is beautiful either way. ;)

I actually prefer the spelling of Katelyn with only 1 "n", but I voted for Katelynn bacause that's the way your MIL spells her mn and since it's the same pronounciation as with just one "n", why not use her name exactly as she spells it?
