Which middle name sounds best (disregard family significance)?
- Lorelei Evelyn Thomas
- Lorelei Sienna Thomas
- Lorelei Julia Thomas
- Lorelei Cynthia Thomas
- Lorelei Emily Thomas
- Lorelei Michelle Thomas
You will be able to change your vote.

Have you ever considered a shorter mn? I personally think with a 3 syllable fn a 1 syllable mn sounds better. All of the ones here are 3 syllable except for Michelle. I know you've been at it for awhile. It's not that any of them sound bad, it just makes for a really long name.
I'm sure you've considered all possibilities and for what it's worth, here's some I like.
Lorelei Paige
Lorelei Claire
Lorelei Faith
Lorelei Maeve
Btw, I love the name Lorelei.

Debra,
Thanks for the suggestions. I have considered using a shorter name - I just can't find anything that I like and that my husband and I agree on. Some other ideas I came up with were..
LORELEI GISELLE (my favorite!)
LORELEI BLYTHE
LORELEI EDEN
DH doesn't like any of these, though. Middle names like Rose, Grace, Anne, etc. all seem like filler names to me. The only one I might consider would be LORELEI MAE, which is a family name (although it still seems fillerish to me).
You said to disregard family significance, but family significance is REALLY important. Sometimes its not about which combination sounds best, but about which one will mean the most to your daughter...

You already know ITA with you, but I was just wondering if you've considered any variants of the family names on your list, since you'd wanted to use one but nothing seems to be standing out? Like Michaela rather than Michelle, something like that. Just a thought!
Based on the names alone, my vote went to Lorelei Julia. ;)
